Jeremiah 31-32

I will surely gather them from all the lands where I banish them in my furious anger and great wrath; I will bring them back to this place and let them live in safety. They will be my people, and I will be their God. I will give them singleness of heart and action, so that they will always fear me for their own good and the good of their children after them. I will make an everlasting covenant with them: I will never stop doing good to them, and I will inspire them to fear me, so that they will never turn away from me. I will rejoice in doing them good and will assuredly plan them in this land with all my heart and soul.

This is what God told the Israelites. It's so amazing to see God's heart for them. He said "I will never stop doing good to them.. I will rejoice in doing them good.." God delights in doing good to his people. That's you and I! And all of his children. Although God disciplined the Israelites because of their sin, God's plan was to bring them back and restore them.

I am so thankful that God is in control of our lives. He knows what we are going through. Let us trust him and his perfect plan for us!
