Mark 13-15

He began to call down curses on himself, and he swore to them, "I don't know this man you're talking about." Immediately the rooster crowed the second time. Then Peter remembered the word Jesus had spoken to him: "Before the rooster crows twice you will disown me three times." And he broke down and wept.

This passage talks about Peter's denial of Jesus. The bible only records his denial in detail, but it is true that all the disciples denied and deserted Jesus.

I was once again reminded of God's amazing grace. Before he chose the twelve disciples, before he made you and me, he already knew everything about us - our failure, unfaithfulness, wickedness.. Yet he still made us and chose us to be his children.

I know we feel so helpless and want to give up whenever we fail before God. However, knowing that God's grace and forgiveness is always there, we should never give up but turn and repent just like Peter did.

Let us remember not to take God's grace for granted but live a life that is worthy of his love. Praise God.
